Glen graduated from The University of Western Australia in 2004, and the WA Radiology Training program in 2014. He then completed two fellowships from 2013 to 2015 at The University of Toronto, Canada, subspecialising in women’s and abdominal imaging. Glen joined Envision in 2020 as a radiologist with a subspecialty interest in women’s imaging and pelvic MRI.
He works in the private and public sectors including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Western Ultrasound for Women, Breast Screen WA, and Envision. Glen is active in teaching and research. He teaches at state and interstate RANZCR events, has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented both poster and oral presentations at national and international medical conferences. He is also an examiner for both RANZCR and ARC.
Glen’s current research focus is on the use of MRI in women’s imaging, working on a placental MRI study for a Masters of Clinical Research at The University of Western Australia, breast MRI studies for the high-risk breast cancer service at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and endometriosis MRI techniques for the multidisciplinary team at King Edward Memorial Hospital For Women to improve the diagnosis and management for people living with endometriosis.
Glen has formerly worked as a professional dancer as a company member with Buzz Dance Theatre touring interstate and was on the Board of Management for Steps Youth Dance Company after working as a company member. He is the current Secretary and Treasurer of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (WA Branch) and a full instructor in Advanced Life Support for the Australian Resuscitation Council. Glen is a member of the RANZCR subspecialist interest groups for breast (BIG), obstetrics and gynaecology (OGSIG), and abdominal (ARGANZ) imaging. He is also on the Professional Practice Committee (PPC) and Stillbirth Steering Group.
Glen is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO) and an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia, examiner for the Curtin Medical School.
