What Does It Cost?
Envision Medical Imaging is a private billing practice. The fees that are charged will vary depending upon the examination or procedure. We encourage you to ask about the costs of your procedure at the time of booking your appointment.
Should the nature of your test alter at the time of the study (for example, an incorrect test is ordered or further treatment has been required that could not have been anticipated at the time of booking) then this may alter the cost of the test and therefore the gap
Full payment of your account is required on the day of examination.
We accept major credit cards and cash and also provide EFTPOS facilities at our practice to facilitate easy payment of your account.
In cases where payment is being made by EFT, our account details are: BSB 086-492 ACC 7548-02341
Full payment of your account is required on the day of examination. You may then claim back the relevant rebate from Medicare. We can lodge Medicare claims electronically, so that Medicare rebates are automatically sent to your nominated bank account. Ask our reception staff for a quote upon booking.
We remain the preferred provider for many allied health referrers. Although your MRI may not receive a Medicare rebate, we have kept the cost to you on par with a Medicare rebateable scan. Without the associated costs of seeing a Specialist, you potentially save time and money.
Currently, private health insurers DO NOT cover any radiological procedures for outpatients.
Full payment of your account is required on the day of examination. Bulk billing or discounting of fees is at the discretion of the clinic management at Envision.
Please note that patients referred by Department of Veterans Affairs may need a pre-certification authority (if there is no Medicare Benefit item number available) prior to their appointment
Patients should note that if your workers compensation claim is declined, you will be responsible for payment of that procedure
